Cybera Summit 08: Driving Business Innovation

Cybera will host its second annual Cyberinfrastructure Summit at the Banff Centre in Banff, AB this fall. This year’s Summit will bring together cyberinfrastructure users, collaborators and innovators. The focus will be to build, strengthen and expand the cyberinfrastructure foundation in Alberta's private sector and research community.

Featured guest speaker, Honourable Murray Coell, Minister of Advanced Education will make the announcement and speak about the value of advanced network for research and education in BC.

The completion of the next generation advanced network highlights a successful partnership between BCNET and CANARIE to bring BC's researchers, educators and students the latest in next generation networking technologies.

The completion of the dedicated advanced network in BC provides an unprecedented bandwidth to meet the growing demands of collaboration, research and education for the next 10 years.
